Described as a “piano-focused Joni Mitchell” by DFW’s Ghost of Blind Lemon blog and named “a must-see Texas artist” by the Dallas Morning News, Emmeline’s jazzy take on folk-pop blends detailed storytelling with heartfelt emotion. Her songs explore love, loss, hope, perseverance, and triumph in the face of adversity.
Her debut full-length album, Rise, showcased her sonic versatility through a collaboration with Ethan Mentzer of The Click Five and Joe Phillips of Braveheart, resulting in eleven expansive tracks that reflect the depth of the human experience. Alongside Rise, she has released four EPs, all available on major streaming platforms.
Although her recordings have been praised, Emmeline is best known for her engaging and intimate live performances. She was a finalist in the Al Johnson Performing Songwriter Contest at the Wildflower Festival and continues to find new, creative ways to connect with loyal fans and new listeners alike.
Outside of music, Emmeline is a doctoral candidate at Southern Methodist University and a proud dog mom to her rescue lab mix, Chloe—her constant source of joy and inspiration.
