She grew up singing in school choirs and a cappella groups, picked up the guitar in third grade, and began leading worship for FCA and YoungLife at just 14 years old. Her passion for sharing music continued through high school and college, where she regularly led worship at summer camps and performances.
In 2014, Berkley began posting covers on Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube, quickly building a large following as her videos gained popularity. While at the University of Oklahoma, she performed in a musical with her sorority as a freshman and later served as vocal director for her sorority’s competition and formal recruitment.
Influenced by the red dirt country music she grew up listening to, Berkley draws inspiration from artists like Shane Smith & the Saints, Zach Bryan, and Flatland Cavalry. While she has written several original songs, she primarily performs covers that reflect her love for the genre and her storytelling spirit.
After earning her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from OU in May 2023, Berkley plans to pursue a degree in Music Therapy at Texas Woman’s University in Denton. Her ultimate goal is to combine her love for music with her desire to help others, using music as a tool to bring healing and hope.
