Wang Taylor is an American vocalist, guitarist, songwriter, performer, bandleader and arranger, mixing the sounds of bossa-nova jazz with funk, blues, Hawaiian and tropical music to forge his own progressive style that is one of a kind.
Wang began playing guitar at 13 in Dallas, Texas, studying voice under Edward Kunchev, an internationally acclaimed Bel Canto master, and studying guitar under Miguel Antonio, a distinguished Flamenco concert guitarist. Wang has played across Texas, New Orleans, Florida and California.
Today, he resides in Dallas where he performs as an acoustic soloist or with his Jazz-Funk sextet “Tasty & The Groovy Snacks”.
