Rooted in the Texas Panhandle, his songs capture the heartache, humor, and grit of growing up, sweeping listeners away like a gust of Amarillo wind. His storytelling will have you laughing one moment and reflecting with nostalgia the next, shifting like a blue northern rolling across the plains.

Todd’s debut album, recorded in Houston, helped him establish himself as an independent artist in Dallas, where steady weekend gigs sharpened his performance skills. In June 2020, he made his festival debut at Texas Music Revolution in McKinney, an event that has featured artists like Randy Rogers and Charley Crockett. He has also performed at House of Blues Dallas during a local artist showcase and continues to expand his presence across Texas stages.

His latest full-length album, Moons & Mornings, recorded in Dallas, blends Tom Petty-inspired guitar work with Gin Blossoms-style vocals, creating a sound that is both familiar and fresh. Whimsical yet serious, Todd Youngblood is too folk for the country crowd, too country for the folk crowd, and rock ’n’ roll until he’s not.
