Melody of Hope Artist
Alejandro began playing guitar and singing at the age of ten in his hometown of Santa Clara. Throughout his high school years, he performed at school events and local venues, developing a deep love for music and live performance.
At seventeen, Alejandro moved to Miami, Florida, where he became involved in jazz and later graduated from Miami Dade College with a degree in Music Business in 2018. In 2019, he launched his first project, Duo Terra, a versatile acoustic show that fused Cuban rhythms with pop-rock, blues, funk, jazz, flamenco, and reggae—mixing covers and original songs. That same year, he was featured in the New Herald for a historic event in Key West. From there, Alejandro began performing regularly in both Key West and Miami.
In January 2020, Alejandro toured Argentina, performing in El Bolsón and Bariloche. Shortly after, the pandemic shifted his path, and he began recording his first album, Desde el Exilio, which was released on May 27, 2022. Later in 2020, he relocated to Houston, Texas, where he launched his solo career as Alejandro Terra. His shows evolved into acoustic loop solo performances, blending percussion, bass, and layered guitar harmonies to accompany his melodies and voice. In Houston, he performed at venues such as Five Central’s Red Room and Dan Electro’s Bar.
By June 2021, Alejandro returned to Miami, continuing to record and perform. Highlights included a performance at the Miami Youth Fair with a Trio Band, weekly concerts at La Taverna Calle 8 with special guests, and serving as a backing vocalist at Premio Lo Nuestro in February 2022 alongside iconic Latin artist Olga Tañón. The following month, he performed at SXSW in Austin, Texas, with Marlet Ali.
Today, Alejandro Terra resides in Dallas, Texas, where he continues to share his art and passion for music across the United States.
